ASMC Awards Online

The ASMC Awards Online <http://awards.asmconline.org/>   website is now open for nominations in all award categories.  All awards will be submitted through this web-based system, allowing for a faster and more efficient awards nomination and judging process. This website permits you to review the criteria for each award, learn how to write better nominations, become a nominator, submit nominations and will recognize our annual award winners.

So, where do you begin with this new system? First, become a nominator. If you have your ASMC member number the system should validate you automatically. Next, log in to access the various award categories and develop your award nominations.  If you're not ready to submit your nomination to the National Headquarters just yet - the system will allow you to save the nomination and return at a later date. The online nomination forms will be available until COB of the awards due date for each category. No paper nominations will be accepted.

Nominations for individual and team achievement awards are January 31, 2010, so don’t delay!

Defense FM Survey
ASMC, along with Grant Thornton LLP, is doing an online survey of defense financial managers. This “Supporting the Warfighter” survey should take only a few minutes to complete, and asks ASMC members about PPBE, transitioning from supplemental funding to baseline budgeting, and the future financial workforce (skills, insourcing, career paths) ASMC will reward the three chapters with the highest percentage response rate to this survey a cash award.  1st - $300  2nd - $200  3rd - $100.  The award will be based on the number of responses received per chapter divided by the total paid membership of a chapter as of April 15, 2010. Please be sure to enter your chapter’s name when you fill out the survey.

To access, visit the survey<
http://www.surveygizmo.com/s/228909/2010-american-society-of-military-comptrollers-survey> before April 15, 2010! Aggregated results of this survey will be published and available on the ASMC website.
